Satellite television is available in Alaska via Dish Network! Currently, Dish Network has one satellite and selected
programming available but future plans include increased capacity.
Dish Network offers a package called America's
Top 100 as a core package to Alaskan subscribers. Some areas of Alaska get a better look at the satellite and may subscribe to America's Top 150 as a core package. A
larger dish may be required to obtain these channels

AMERICA'S TOP 100
To receive Dish Network channels in Alaska, you must purchase any
Dish Network satellite system listed on the products page. Depending on your location,
your American Satellite Distributors professional may recommend an upgrade to either a
30 or 36 inch dish. If you reside in
an area either west or north of Anchorage, a 48 inch dish may be a better fit. For
Alaskan customers, an upgrade to 30 inches is a one-time $49 fee. $99 for a 36 inch dish. No worries. Just order online and you will be contacted by e-mail
